What is a Joint Venture’s Registered Capital?

A Joint Venture’s Registered Capital is the total capital of the Joint Venture’s investors/shareholders should contribute.
But since March, 2014, there is no mandatory that the first round 20% registered capital should be invested. The subscribed period can be as long as 20 or 30 years. The subscribed period depends on the investor(s)/shareholder(s) promise.
And also, a Joint Venture is always a limited liability company, so the limited liability for a Joint Venture is the registered capital.
 
How to change Joint Venture's Registered Capital?
Technically, a Joint Venture is just allowed to increase the Registered Capital, but not decrease the Registered Capital. However, under some certain circumstances, it’s also allowed to decrease the Registered Capital.
